Nature takes the lead! Let your aspiring environmentalist embark on a journey of exploration and discovery while taking in the beauty of our natural world and its many wonders.

Maker Space

Innovative STEM-based workshops invite kids to take apart, rebuild, and tinker to their heart’s content. As your child explores and discovers different materials and tools, they develop foundational science and math skills that could spark a lifetime of curiosity and experimentation.

Fun and Games

Time-tested YMCA group activities will provide hours of entertainment and fun for your kid! From classic kickball to Capture the Flag and Red Rover, we'll get the kids up and moving while keeping them safe, active, and engaged.

Team Sports

Get in the game! Win or lose, your kids will learn the importance of teamwork and develop confidence in their abilities and skills. It's a great way to socialize, stay active, and have lots of fun!

When does registration close?

Registration opens on February 12 and spots are available until filled.

What to pack

Please mark all of your child’s belongings with their full name! Items for your child to bring to camp include:  

  • Backpack  
  • Water bottle  
  • Lunch and snacks  
  • Sneakers  
  • Sunscreen (SPF 30+, spray preferred)  
  • Swimsuit and towel (if your child is attending a camp with aquatics programming)  

We also recommend packing sunglasses, a hat, and a book for your child. Do not send your child to camp with electronics, a phone, or other toys.  

The YMCA will not be held responsible for any lost, stolen, or broken items. 

Does the Y offer financial assistance?*

Yes! As a nonprofit organization, financial assistance is made possible through charitable donations to our Make More Possible campaign. Please reach out to your local Y to register and have your financial assistance applied. 

*We are unable to accept DSHS and DDA at YMCA Centers. 

What are my payment options?

You can pay in full with a credit card or check or pay on a weekly basis by keeping a credit card on file. Payments must be made the Wednesday 3 weeks before the start of camp.

What should campers wear to camp?

Campers should wear comfortable clothing that’s okay to get messy and closed-toe shoes.

What is the camper-to-staff ratio?

Ages 3–4   |   1:7 

Ages 5–6   |   1:8  

Ages 7–8   |   1:10 

Ages 9–12 |   1:12 


Extended program has a higher camper-to-staff ratio.
