Kids in youth soccer will practice dribbling, passing, shooting, and footwork skills, as well as concepts of offense, defense, cooperation, and teamwork as a member on a team. Youth soccer teams participate in competitive matches.

Kids in youth tee-ball or baseball will practice batting, throwing, and catching, as well as concepts of offense, defense, cooperation, and teamwork as a member on a team. Youth tee-ball and baseball teams participate in competitive matches.*

Skills and Drills - instructional sports classes that will keep kids fit and active, introduce them to various sports, help them develop their coordination, and make new friends. Skills and Drills is not a league, but a program designed to prepare kids who participate to play in a league in the future.

Homeschool PE focuses on youth fitness through movement, play, and sports. Participants ages 5-18 learn about general fitness, balance, teamwork, and more. Classes are divided by age groups of 1-2 years in range and take place over the course of an hour, two days a week. Availability varies by center. Open to all homeschool children during the school year. Free for Y members.

Y Arts classes are designed for all; from preschoolers to adults, beginning through advanced levels and are offered in a safe and nurturing environment. Explore your creative side in dance, music, theater, culinary, visual, and digital arts classes. Select courses incur a small supplies fee.

In YMCA Gymnastics, children and teenagers gain self-confidence and develop discipline while building strength, flexibility, and coordination.

Swim lessons at the Y help members who want to learn a life skill by increasing their knowledge, ability, and stamina to build smart, strong swimmers, and confidence. Y swim lessons feature skill-based instruction that maximizes physical activity, emphasizes safety, and elevates character development. We stress positive values and give members the opportunity to practice them, growing their self-esteem and self-worth, while having a great time.

Parent and Child lessons feature family-style swim lessons where a parent is in the water and attending with their child. Lesson plans and activities designed to help parents teach Y swim skills with swim instructor support. One child per parent in the water.
Levels 1-3 help preschoolers learn personal water safety and achieve basic swimming competency by learning two benchmark skills — swim, float, swim and jump, push, turn, grab.
Levels 1-4 feature socially distanced in-water activities where kids learn from a swim instructor in the pool with them.
Levels 5-6 feature socially distanced in swim lane activities where kids learn from a swim instructor on the deck.
Levels 4-5 introduce basic stroke techniques of front crawl, back crawl, breaststroke, and butterfly while teaching continued water safety. For swimmers' safety, they should be able to swim 15 yards independently on their front and back.
Level 6 refines stroke technique on all major competitive strokes and encourages swimming as part of a healthy lifestyle. For swimmers' safety, they should be able to swim front crawl, back crawl, and breaststroke for 25 yards.
Levels 1-3 introduce personal water safety and achieve basic swimming competency by learning swim, float swim and jump, push, turn, and grab.
Levels 4-5 help students learn additional water safety skills and build stroke technique, developing skills that prevent chronic disease, increase social-emotional and cognitive well-being, and foster a lifetime of physical activity.
