Yin Yoga Drop-in Class

Details:

Yin Yoga is a slow yoga flow that stretches connective tissue, tendons, ligaments, and muscle tissue. It helps link the breath to a meditative physical practice by creating the mind/body/spirit connection. Postures are passive and all on the floor, typically held for 1-5 minutes allowing the heated environment to aid the stretch.

A fusion of Hatha and Vinyasa Flow Yoga, this class focuses on physical health and mental well-being. Hatha yoga uses bodily postures, breathing techniques, and meditation with the goal of bringing about a sound, healthy body and a clear, peaceful mind, while Vinyasa is yoga which flows.
