Youth Fitness

Children and teens in Youth Fitness classes improve their strength, speed, coordination, and endurance. These group exercise classes are designed to introduce young people to a lifetime of healthy living through fitness.

Homeschool PE Registration Required



Age-appropriate skill development drills teach general fitness, sports, balance, teamwork, and more. Open to all homeschooled children during the school year and included in your YMCA membership.

Details:

For Home Schooled Children Ages 5-18 | Wednesdays, 1-3pm

Participants will get active with one hour of gym and 40 minutes of aquatic activities with age-appropriate skill development drills, general fitness, sports, balance, and teamwork. One parent from each family enrolled in the program must commit to a full program session.

Parents and Volunteers: Parents volunteer one hour each day and then have a free hour to themselves. Volunteer options are in the pool, child watch and PE.

**Volunteer application, state background check and child abuse prevention training must be completed before the family can begin the program.
