Yes, you are able to register for programs at multiple centers within the YMCA of Pierce & Kitsap Counties. Simply login to your My Community account at the identified time for your center(s) and complete the registration process.

You can either visit your local Y, send us an email at membership@ymcapkc.org or give us a call at 253-534-7800

We understand you enjoy watching your kids engage in programs and are happy to accommodate parent/guardian viewing as much as possible based on capacity.

If a non-member would like to watch a class as a spectator, they will need to be checked in at the Welcome Center and complete the waiver process. If the spectator is 16 or older, they will need to present a photo ID upon checking in.

If the spectator would like to participate in an activity or wants to use the facility, they will need to purchase a guest pass at the Welcome Center.

You may register for an unlimited number of classes.

Make Sure Your MyCommunity Account Is Active

Confirm in advance that the email used to login to your MyCommunity account is the same address that is attached to your membership. Opening a new account under a separate email will create registration challenges. Contact membership@ymcapkc.org for support with your My Community account.

Be On Time

Plan on being ready prior to your center's registration time as classes fill up quickly. Think of it like you are buying tickets to your favorite concert - the more prepared you are right when registration opens, the better chance you have of getting the classes you want!

Have A Backup Plan

In case you don't get into the class you want; it is best to have a backup class ready. Add your child to the waitlist if the desired class is full. Someone may drop the class and a spot may become available.

Membership is required for active participation in all parent and child programs, including Parent and Child Swim Lessons, and Toddler Gym. Membership is not required for parent viewing. However, one non-member parent/guardian with youth-only accounts may access the Y with the youth member. Photo identification and standard check-in process required.

If you attempt to register for a program and receive a message regarding a waitlist option, please complete the waitlist process. Even if you see that there are spots available, this means there are members in front of you who are eligible for the open spot(s) for the program. Waitlists help guide our program offerings for this session and the next session. Additionally, program directors monitor program registrations and will move a participant into the program if there is an opening. If your child is moved from the waitlist to the program, you will receive an email from the director with this information.

A full session commitment is required. If you are unable to attend a class you are registered for, please contact us here. Without communication with the program contact regarding an excused absence by the second week of the session, participants will be automatically withdrawn from the class.

Membership is required for all individuals participating in registered classes. For parent and child classes (swim lessons and toddler gym) both the child and the participating parent/guardian need an active membership.

Age limits are in place for the safety of all participants. If your child is moving into a different level during the upcoming session, you will be able to register them for the next level. However, you will need to either call or visit your local Y to support with this enrollment. Please contact us at membership@ymcapkc.org or 253 534 7800 for registration assistance.

Login to your My Community account and select the “My Classes” tile. From there, you will be able to see any classes your household is currently enrolled in as well as any previous classes you’ve attended.

Please visit the "My Program Enrollments" tab of MyCommunity tap on the "Requests to Withdrawal" button. Class cancellations can only be completed by Y staff.
