We are excited to share with you the selection of our new Gordon Family Y Executive Director: Jenna Lehman.
Since our reopening in September 2020, Jenna served as the Senior Aquatics Director at Gordon Family Y. Prior to the pandemic shutting everything down, she served as the Associate Executive Director at Gordon from September 2018-April 2020.
Jenna first became part of the Y through an internship for college where she spent the school year learning about aquatics, health and well-being, and membership. What she thought would be a short engagement to meet her class requirement quickly became much more. Jenna has had the honor of serving in aquatics at Korum, Lakewood, Morgan, and Gordon over the last 15 years.
Over the past 6 years, Jenna has had the opportunity to be part of the Swim Safe Coalition, working to prevent drownings in our area, and serving the Sumner-Bonney Lake school district through job fairs and special events. She has also supported the annual Sumner-Bonney Lake Area Communities for Families Community Summitt hosted by the Communities for Families Coalition for several years.
Jenna graduated from Pacific Lutheran University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education with a concentration in Exercise Science.

It has been such an exciting journey to watch our staff invest their hearts into serving our members, to see our members make our Y their place to belong, and to feel the community embrace our Y. I am so blessed to be part of this amazing team and Y! I look forward to continuing to serve the Gordon Y and to meet each one of you!"
What's Next For Stephanie Roberts
After serving as the Executive Director for the Gordon Family Y since September 2020 and 20 years of dedicated service to the YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties, Stephanie Roberts has been promoted to an Association-wide leadership role and will now be serving as our Operations Director. Her final day at the Gordon Family Y will be January 21. In her new role, Stephanie will continue to contribute to the YMCA through her superb skillset where she will lead our Child Care, outreach, and partnership work.

"As I reflect on this last year and a half, and all that has occurred, I know that I will absolutely miss the people that I have had the honor to serve alongside! In my time at Gordon, I have been surrounded by truly kind, authentic, hilarious, and dedicated staff, volunteers, and members that support the Y wholeheartedly and work hard to serve our communities at the highest level. The unwavering dedication that I have seen given to the Gordon Y makes it a very special place!
I am looking forward to serving our organization in a new way with talented staff leaders who pour their hearts into the youth in our communities throughout Pierce and Kitsap Counties! This is a team that works hard every day to provide the best of themselves to all who they come into contact with, and I am grateful for the opportunity to join them, gain a better understanding of all that is being done, and bring new ideas to the table!"
