Designed for grades 8–12, YMCA Teen Leadership programs help young people develop leadership skills, build lasting friendships, and grow into confident young adults. Build meaningful connections through leadership development, civic engagement, and community involvement.
Teen Leadership Program Details
Grades: 8-12
Locations: Programs are offered in Pierce County at the Lakewood Family YMCA in Lakewood and the Pearl Street Family YMCA in Tacoma

Programs available for registration opens on August 15.

Teen leaders bring each Kids Night Out (KNO) alive as they participate as group leaders, unit leaders, or support staff.

This annual retreat enables teens to set and meet personal goals, build self-esteem, and create community.

Come join other young teen leaders from our YMCA and participate in this once-in-a-lifetime, unique, and impactful cultural experience.

Become familiar with our state government in a fun and exciting way by drafting your own laws and running your own model youth legislature.
