Get Ready for Youth Sports!
University Place residents have priority access to registration for two weeks. After that, registration will open to the broader community.
University Place Sports are offered through a community partnership with the City of U.P. and use a resident/non-resident pricing structure instead of a YMCA membership pricing. All YMCA members would come in at the non-resident rate and are encouraged to register for sports at their local community center, where they are eligible for the YMCA member rate.
Registration is managed through the YMCA’s online system, MyCommunity. Select “University Place” as your location, and all available sports for the current season will appear. From there, simply follow the prompts to complete registering your player.
Please ensure “University Place” is spelled correctly on your registration; this is the most common issue we find. If you are unable to register, please contact us at UPSports@ymcapkc.org, 253-564-9622, or stop by the Pearl Street Family YMCA.
The program will be offered around the City of University Place at various parks and participating schools. Exact locations will be available at the time of registration.
“Powered by the YMCA” means the program is run and supported by the YMCA. The YMCA provides staffing, registration, customer support, and overall program oversight. The City of University Place provides the locations where the programs take place.
