What's New at the Pearl Street Family YMCA
What to expect, future projects, and other helpful information.
The west building houses the aquatics center, strength training room, and climbing wall. Those features are no longer available in the east building.
The east building houses the gymnasiums, cardio rooms, racquetball courts, child watch, youth drop-in zone, gymnastics, conference room, track, virtual studio, cycle studio, art studio, dance studio, performing arts studio, and group exercise rooms (MP2, triangle room).
Members can check in at either building’s welcome center. If you move between buildings, you will not need to check into both buildings as long as you follow the dedicated walkway between the two buildings.
Check out the campus map for parking lot locations. We also have a row of electric charging stations to the west of the west building.
There are bus stops located on Pearl St and 10th, directly in front of the east building.
The aquatics center, weight room, climbing wall, and upstairs locker rooms are permanently closed.
The west building is designed to be accessible, with accommodations in our aquatics center and an elevator to reach the strength training room on the second floor. Please call (253-564-9622) or email for additional questions.
We’re excited to have members use the new west building and we’re not done thinking about the future. The next phase of construction will include gymnasiums, cardio room, art room, chapel, teen center, lounge, child watch, multipurpose rooms, community meeting room, racquetball and squash courts, cycling studio, and indoor walking track.
Construction will begin after another round of fundraising.
