KickStart is A FREE, customized coaching program included with your Y membership. This 8-12 week holistic program is designed to optimize your strength training, cardio, and nutrition. All programming is tailored to your body, experience level, and goals. Gain confidence navigating the Y’s spaces and using the machines safely and effectively.

How It Works
You’ll meet one-on-one with a Kickstart wellness coach four times over several weeks. It begins with a mobility screening to create a personalized plan just for you. You’ll also receive a fitness orientation and tour of the facility to become familiar with the equipment.
Together, You’ll:
Build a custom workout plan that works for your goals and lifestyle.
Learn how to use gym equipment and navigate the Y with confidence.
Get nutrition guidance to fuel your progress.
Set realistic, motivating SMART goals to track your success.
What to Expect
After booking your introductory session, you and your coach will set up four one-on-one sessions to develop an 8-12 week guide to Kickstart your fitness journey.
During Kickstart You’ll:
Learn how to use the strength and cardio equipment with proper form to maximize your confidence. The gym should become your playground.
Warm up and cool down to reduce the likelihood of injury and promote recovery.
Be introduced to group classes, connecting you to an active fitness community.
Discover foundations in nutrition, enabling you to gain the proper fuel for your body.

Fitness Orientations Offered
Fitness Orientations
Fitness orientations help new members get familiar with our fitness spaces and equipment. A staff member will guide you through the workout areas, show you how to safely use machines like treadmills, bikes, and weights, and offer helpful tips for starting your fitness plan. It’s a great way to feel comfortable, confident, and ready for your Y fitness journey.
Youth Orientations
Youth orientations at the Y help youth ages 8-15 understand our facilities, programs, and expectations. Staff provide a tour, review safety guidelines and facility rules, and introduce the equipment they can use based on their age, according to our safety guidelines. There will be an interactive element to help youth get connected and feel confident on each machine. The goal is to help young people feel welcome, comfortable, and excited to get involved at the Y.
