Fitness Orientations Offered

Fitness Orientations

Fitness orientations help new members get familiar with our fitness spaces and equipment. A staff member will guide you through the workout areas, show you how to safely use machines like treadmills, bikes, and weights, and offer helpful tips for starting your fitness plan. It’s a great way to feel comfortable, confident, and ready for your Y fitness journey.

Youth Orientations

Youth orientations at the Y help youth ages 8-15 understand our facilities, programs, and expectations. Staff provide a tour, review safety guidelines and facility rules, and introduce the equipment they can use based on their age, according to our safety guidelines. There will be an interactive element to help youth get connected and feel confident on each machine. The goal is to help young people feel welcome, comfortable, and excited to get involved at the Y.
