Before Class
- It is recommended that all dancers use the restroom before their session to avoid missing any instruction or rehearsal.
- Although there are water fountains outside the studio, personal water bottles are recommended so dancers have easier access to hydration.
- Fueling your body before dance is key to having the energy and stamina you need without feeling too full or sluggish during class. Aim for light, balanced snacks like hummus with whole-grain crackers or veggie sticks, apple slices with your choice of nut butter, or turkey & cheese roll-ups.
Please remember:
- Everyone is an artist.
- Demonstrate caring by using only kind words.
- Be respectful of others by keeping your hands to yourself.
- Take responsibility for arriving to class on time, for listening first, and staying engaged throughout the class.
- Be brave, be honest, keep practicing, try your best, and stick with it.
- Have fun!
