"When COVID-19 hit, we looked for ways to help. It was no surprise to us that the YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties quickly set up child care for first responders and other frontline workers fighting COVID-19. Over 600 children are being served daily with a low staff-to-child ratio and extended hours. It was an easy decision to donate immediately. The Y is our surrogate for community outreach."
