Join us for Fitness Fest, a week celebrating our classes and you, at the Haselwood Family YMCA! Each day will be something new. Here's what's in store:

Guest Passes

YMCA members are eligible to claim up to 5 guest passes during Fitness Fest. This is the perfect opportunity to share everything the Y has to offer, from energizing group workouts to expansive fitness facilities – all in a supportive and welcoming community.

Monday, May 12 

9-11am and 4:30-7:30pm | Personal Record Day (PR) 
Sign up now for our PR Day event! Compete to earn your name on our weight room record board. We are all about creating a fun experience. Music and snacks will be provided! 

10:15-10:45am | Move It Monday 
Elicia will be doing as many laps as possible for time with the Active Older Adults. 

5-6pm | Aqua Drums 
Play drums in the water! Aqua Drums is a combination of drum rhythms utilizing new equipment that has never been used in water. It's a lot of fun! Every move you make will be even more effective! 

7-7:45pm | Aqua Zumba 
This class combines the Zumba philosophy with vigorous aqua exercises. This is one pool party you don't want to miss! The water's resistance cushions your feet, knees, and back as you dance the class away! 

 

Wednesday, May 14 

10:30-11am | Stretching Workshop 
Learn how to optimize the range of motion in every joint of the body and take advantage of basic techniques to restore your daily function! 

7-7:45pm | Aqua Zumba 
This class combines the Zumba philosophy with vigorous aqua exercises. This is one pool party you don't want to miss! The water's resistance cushions your feet, knees, and back as you dance the class away! 

10:30-11:30am | Pilates Workshop 
Join Steffanie for a special Pilates class that is designed to improve physical strength, flexibility, and posture – all while enhancing mental awareness. 

 

Thursday, May 15 

5-6pm | Aqua HIIT  
During this workout, we utilize water weights and a pool noodle. HIIT consists of various exercises that focus on all parts of the body; this interval-training class is performed in blocks with 30 seconds of rest in between. 

 

Friday, May 16 

10:15-10:45am | Fitness Friday 
We will be performing bodyweight movements with resistance bands to challenge the mind and body. The Active Older Adult group will motivate each other to stay focused! 

12:30-1:30 | Barre Workshop 
Join Steffanie for a low-impact, high-intensity workout combining elements of ballet, Pilates, and yoga. This class uses a stationary handrail for support and balance. 

 

Saturday, May 17 

11am-5:30pm | Pickleball Tournament 
Bring your "A game" to the pickleball tournament! Sign up with your friend and prepare to compete in a friendly environment where bragging rights are on the line.
