Join us for Fitness Fest, a week celebrating our classes and you, at the Bremerton Family YMCA! Each day will be something new. Here's what's in store:
Guest Passes
YMCA members are eligible to claim up to 5 guest passes during Fitness Fest. This is the perfect opportunity to share everything the Y has to offer, from energizing group workouts to expansive fitness facilities – all in a supportive and welcoming community.
90 minute nights | Monday-Thursday
All final classes of the night go an extra 30 min: M-Yin Yoga and Barre, T-Gentle Yoga & Commit, W-Commit & Vinyasa Yoga, Th-Commit
Tuesday, May 13
5-6pm | Core Workshop
The CORE Workshop addresses common core issues women face in order to build strong, healthy abdominals and back.
5:30-6:15pm | Aqua Dance
With this entertaining class that focuses on rhythm and beat, you can feel the flow of the music in the pool while learning a variety of dance movements. Common genres of music you may hear include Latin, pop and hip hop.
Wednesday, May 14
10am-12pm | Beginner Pickleball Workshop
Have fun and get a good workout with pickleball! Learn the fundamentals at this beginner workshop - open to all!
9-11am and 6-8pm | Personal Record (PR) Day
Come in to achieve your Personal Record with our coaches standing by to support you in meeting your gainz goals.
10-10:45am | Zumba Showcase
Join our Zumba instructor Becky to get a taste of dancing for all levels. Come work up a sweat and have a blast!
12:15-1pm | Foam Rolling Workshop
Come roll with us! Learn the basics of foam rolling and stretching to improve your recovery.
Thursday, May 15
12-1pm | Adaptive Bootcamp
Want to safely push yourself to test your strength, balance, and mobility? Try this lunchtime bootcamp sample that meets you right where you are!
5-6pm | Step Aerobics
A blast from the past with classic Step Areobics featured on the gym floor! Come sweat on the step and wear your best workout clothes from the 70s and 80's!
5:30-6:15pm | Shallow Aqua HIIT
Challenge yourself with high-intensity interval training (HIIT), which produces both strength and cardio benefits, using the water's resistance. Prioritize improving your personal best before transitioning to active recovery without slowing to a standstill.
5:30-7pm | Kettlebell Workshop
Experience the foundations of kettlebell! In this workshop, you'll learn movement patterns and explore this functional workout.
