Join us for a special workshop on Sun Salutations A and B with a focus on proper alignment on November 8 from 9-10:30am. This workshop is appropriate for beginners and for students wanting to refine their practice. Participants must be able to get up and down off the floor unassisted. Start your weekend right! Late Nite is every Friday night from 9:30-11:30pm at the Y. It's open to youth ages 13-18 in the community.

The Main Gym will be closed today from 6-9pm and Saturday from 7am-5pm for a martial arts tournament. There will not be open gym during these times; however members are invited to watch the tournament. We apologize for the inconvenience.

We need your help! Next week, our preschoolers will be trick-or-treating around the Y. You can help by donating bags of individually wrapped candy in the lobby between now and Monday. Help us fill the bucket!

Healthy living starts at a young age. That's why we're excited to announce that we'll soon have exercise equipment for kids! Equip yourself for the challenges of daily living. Meet with other members for a non-denominational, faith-based hour of prayer, and fellowship in our Community Prayer Time, every Friday at 9am.

Fall 1 Registration Guide

Before registration day, make sure to create your personal Daxko account. Do so by following the steps in our handy "How to Register" guide.

If you are having issues with registration, please email Lorne Ennis and we will assist you at our earliest convenience.

CHANGES TO REGISTRATION

As a reminder, we have converted to a 2-Class per person per family registration this session to accommodate all members. During Late Registration it is possible to register for a third class but three is our maximum.

LAKEwood Family Y Policies

GUEST POLICY AND WAIVER
Guests who would like to visit our facilities may purchase a one-day YMCA membership and take advantage of any free activity or drop in program we offer on that day. For more information, visit our guest policy page.

Click here to print our Guest Waiver. Every guest entering the Lakewood Family YMCA must sign a Guest Waiver. If you are bringing a minor in as a guest, you must have a Guest Waiver signed by the child's parent or guardian.

100% ID CHECK
All members and guests are required to use a YMCA membership card or photo ID to enter the Y. Replacement YMCA cards are available at the Membership Office for $2.50. Thank you for helping us enforce this policy to ensure the safety of everyone at the Y. This policy allows us to know exactly who is in the building in the event of an emergency, natural disaster, or security threat.

NEW GUIDELINES FOR CAREGIVERS/ASSISTANTS

If you require assistance while at the Lakewood YMCA or are a caretaker for someone who does, please follow the steps in our new Guidelines for Caregivers/Assistants. Effective December 1, 2011

FitPath is an appointment designed specifically for members ages 10 and older who want to have a tailored, progressive fitness plan. Our Health and Well-being staff will meet with you to discuss your goals to create a program that's right for you. 


Button-Personal-Training
