Thanks to a balanced operating structure, the YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties offsets fund raising expenses with revenues derived from membership and programs fees, enabling 100% of contributed dollars to be directed to their intended purposes. The structure has been one of the organization’s greatest strengths since the organization’s founding in 1883.
