After 23 amazing years with the YMCA, Tani Loomis taught her last class this morning to many devoted members.

Tani having been the Executive Director for Tacoma Center YMCA for the last five years, helped and motivated staff and members alike through more than just fitness goals. Her spunky and high energetic personality will be missed.

We wish her and her husband the best of luck in their new life adventures.

Today was our Executive Director, Tani's last day at the Y. We are excited to support her in the next chapter of her life with her family, but will greatly miss her, especially her contagious smile and exuberant spirit. Tani started out as a volunteer with the YMCA nearly 23 years ago. Join us in wishing Tani a blessed season ahead!

At every age and every level of activity, you will find people just like you looking to become a little healthier. The Y has the facilities, equipment, programs, staff, and dedicated membership to support you as you choose your path a healthier lifestyle. 

The Tacoma Center YMCA offers a variety of fitness classes for all levels and abilities. All classes are included in your YMCA membership and available on a drop-in basis.

The pool closes at 9pm Monday-Friday, and 30 minutes prior to closing on Saturday and Sunday.

Tacoma Center offers programs and services for adults ages 15 and older Monday-Friday. Youth are allowed on Saturdays and Sundays when they are accompanied by an adult.

FitPath is an appointment designed specifically for members ages 10 and older who want to have a tailored, progressive fitness plan. Our Health and Well-being staff will meet with you to discuss your goals to create a program that's right for you.
