Thank you to the West Hills Auto Plex for its generous donation of $25,107.51 our #AnnualCampaign. Your tremendous support helps us ensure access to YMCA programs for many of our neighbors who might otherwise be unable to participate.

Today we were pleased to be presented with this commemorative check honoring the Auto Plex's efforts during our Annual Campaign.

PLEASE BE ADVISED: We apologize for the delayed notice but there will be road construction along Randall Way much of today and Monday. We were just informed of this construction yesterday by Silverdale Water.

Currently there is no access to the facility parking lot from Randall Way as Silverdale Water has coned off the entryway. Please use the entrances from Silverdale Way or Poplars Ave to access the facility. We expect similar slowdown on Monday as the Silverdae Water begins repaving the road. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause during your commute.

As part of the Y's commitment to keep swimmers safe in and around the water, the Y encourages children and adults to have fun and enjoy the various benefits of swimming, but to always make safety their first priority.

In an effort to provide support to our community teens during the teachers' union walkout in the Central Kitsap School District, the Haselwood Family YMCA will provide a free day to area 7th-12th graders this Thursday, May 7.

Students who are not YMCA members will be allowed access to the facility for free, but MUST have a current parent-signed guest waiver on file. If you have attended one of our Late Nite programs within the last five months, you should already have a current waiver on file. If you are unsure, please download a waiver and ensure you bring it with you this Thursday.

HASELWOOD Family Y ID AND GUEST PolicY

100% ID CHECK ALWAYS IN EFFECT
In order to better protect our members, guests, and staff, all visitors *14 years of age and older are required to show a valid, government-issued ID.

This policy helps us account for all people in the facility, making the YMCA a safer place for all in attendance. Community members who intend to visit the facility on a regular basis can elect to have their picture taken and stored in our database in lieu of showing picture ID during subsequent visits, but all first-time guests MUST present ID to enter the facility.

GUEST POLICY AND WAIVER
Community members and guests wishing to visit the facility are required to sign our guest waiver before entering the facility. Additionally, all minors entering the facility must have their guest waivers signed by a parent or guardian.

*Visitors not old enough to obtain a driver's license or learner's permit may present an ASB or other accredited student council ID card for entrance.

youth recreational swim checks

The Haselwood Family YMCA employs a youth swim check practice, which allows our lifeguards and aquatic staff to quickly and accurately determine each youth's swim level. The tiered levels are color-coded to a corresponding band color - red, yellow, or green - and determine into what areas of the aquatic center each swimmer can go.

Youth will have their swim level checked upon their first visit to the facility and the band must be worn at all times while in the aquatic center unless the child is participating in a YMCA group swim lesson.

More Info Button

This practice applies to all youth recreational swimmers regardless whether the child is a community member, YMCA member, or YMCA swim lesson participant.
