HASELWOOD Family Y ID AND GUEST PolicY

100% ID CHECK ALWAYS IN EFFECT
In order to better protect our members, guests, and staff, all visitors *14 years of age and older are required to show a valid, government-issued ID.

This policy helps us account for all people in the facility, making the YMCA a safer place for all in attendance. Community members who intend to visit the facility on a regular basis can elect to have their picture taken and stored in our database in lieu of showing picture ID during subsequent visits, but all first-time guests MUST present ID to enter the facility.

GUEST POLICY AND WAIVER
Community members and guests wishing to visit the facility are required to sign our guest waiver before entering the facility. Additionally, all minors entering the facility must have their guest waivers signed by a parent or guardian.

*Visitors not old enough to obtain a driver's license or learner's permit may present an ASB or other accredited student council ID card for entrance.

RECREATIONAL AND LAP SWIM  |  ages six months to 14 years

SWIM BANDS
In order to ensure our youth remain safe in the water, the Haselwood Y employs a tiered swim band practice that helps our staff understand each swimmer's capabilities. Swim band levels include red, yellow, and green. Each child's swim level will be checked and recorded in our database regardless of whether the child is a guest, member, or a participant in our swim lessons. When a child checks in at our Welcome Center, he or she can obtain the proper colored wrist band for his or her capabilities. This wrist band must be worn at all times while in the aquatic center.
