Like most working young adults, scheduling time into your fitness routine can can difficult and sometimes stressful. Zvon, a relatively new member of the University Y Student Center says, "becoming part of the Y has exceeded my expectations of a typical gym."
Zvon explains that the people he gets to work out with in his Group Fitness Classes have encouraged him in his own personal fitness goals and reduced the amount of stress he sometimes feels at his job. Zvon prefers upbeat classes, like Zumba or MIXXEDFIT because it gets him excited about working out, and takes his mind off his daily tasks. He has also registered for the Intramural Volleyball League at the University Y, stating that has allowed him to develop a healthy competition with his teammates and friends.
For Zvon, the community aspect of the Y is what really stood out out to him. "I have a new appreciation for an organizations that offers such a great place for students and community members to essentially be one."
