Despite two years of working out on an elliptical, Sarah wasn’t seeing the results she had anticipated. She came to the Y to change her plateaued workout plan and her outlook on health. When her friend recommended she try cycling, her entire world changed.

Over the next year Sarah lost 65 pounds and developed friendships that kept her motivated and accountable.

The social atmosphere of the Y and the camaraderie that formed in her cycling class was exactly what she needed to reach her goals and give her the extra push to be a positive role model for her daughters.

“The Y has given me the opportunity to change,” said Sarah. “And I am dedicated to making it.”
