Rai Nauman M.

University Y Student Center

When Rai Nauman is not running around the Y racking weights, collecting towels, filling up countless bottles of vindicator, and answering members' questions, he is diligently working toward his lifetime goal of becoming a president of a university.

Rai Nauman attended the University of Washington Tacoma (UWT) and was heavily involved in student government. He was part of the first discussions about the University Y Student Center, and influenced the inclusion of the Reflection Room.

Just as his positive and supportive attitude has helped countless members achieve their fitness goals, the valuable experiences and life lessons he has gained from those daily interactions will truly be what prepares him to excel in his future endeavors.

"To be a president of a university you must be a collaborative leader with a background in various diverse interests," said Rai Nauman. "I have such amazing coworkers here at the Y and to get the opportunity to change people's lives through physical fitness and outreach efforts on a daily basis is very fulfilling. I have learned so much while working here and I hope to use that knowledge to better serve my community in the future."
