A year ago, Karen pinched a nerve in her lower back, causing great discomfort and numbness. She found that she was unable to perform her previous workout routine, so she decided to rejoin the YMCA.
At the Y, Karen had a fitness assessment and orientation with Melissa. She was introduced to ActivTrax and Core Balance, which helped her to increase her strength and flexibility.
"I'm happy to say that after my three-month assessment, my strength and flexibility had greatly improved. So has my attitude," says Karen.
