The Y has always been my go-to place to work out! I have been a member since 1978 and LOVE the ambiance here! Whether it’s floor aerobics, swimming, step aerobics, weights, cycling, and all the children's programs in which my kids have participated in, it is by far the best fitness gym around!

This is not just because of our awesome variety of classes, instructors and life skills courses; but because of our members and the friendships developed here at the Y! I love meeting new people and encouraging them in their fitness journey.

After attending both step aerobics and spin for years, I was "one of those" who got reluctantly pulled up to teach, and soon fell in love with it! Spin is my favorite form of physical activity and I am passionate about teaching it!

Upon returning to the Y due to my moving overseas for four years, I immediately had a strong desire to teach and looked into job opportunities here at Morgan. The health and well-being coach position was posted, and I applied.

I was thrilled to land the role, even if I knew little about it! Having had excellent training, I discovered how much I love helping get our members into a weightlifting program designed especially for them!

I have a passion for both people and fitness, and I get the privilege of helping others gain a passion for physical fitness also!

Truly, I feel blessed to work amongst awesome co-workers, who daily encourage and build others up; blessed to serve our members by leading, loving and caring for them on many levels; blessed to build deep and lasting relationships with so many of our members, who really have become friends!

What an amazing place to work, whereby I get to serve others in their health journey, develop friendships for life, and get to do what I'm passionate about … spirit, mind, and body!
