Often an inspiration, Jamarae Finnie credits the YMCA Teen Late Nite program with providing him and his friends a positive environment to hang out.
"A couple of friends told me about the Y and we used to sneak in until some directors caught us and invited us to Late Nite," the Late Nite Senior of the Year recalled. "You meet important people and you meet people who influence your neighborhood. The Y is like a privilege, like an opportunity to me."
Jamarae starts college this fall at Langston University and is thankful for the support of the YMCA and the Late Nite program through middle and high school.
