When Bailey first joined cheer at the Y, she was extremely shy. "She hadn't broke out of her shell yet," said Larissa, Bailey's mother.
It only took one practice for Bailey to fall in love with cheerleading. Her passion for cheer motivates her to practice on her own, and the trust she has in her coaches has helped her to build confidence.
After a few seasons of cheer under her belt, Bailey not only has the skills needed for cheer, but transformed into an outgoing and confident young girl. Bailey's confidence helped her make new friends, and become a leader in the program.
"I look forward to high school cheer auditions because the Y taught me the techniques and skills I need to succeed," said Bailey.
