Weight loss is not measured within the group
Managing your weight is complicated, including our relationship with food and our body, feelings of self-worth, stress, and emotional health. Successfully changing your lifestyle requires a comprehensive approach.
Journey to Healthy Living is a 12-week small group that meets for two hours once a week. This program includes an introduction to exercise, book discussion, and information on healthy eating. Experience a supportive community as you create your own holistic weight management plan while engaging your spirit, mind, and body.

Have you tried every diet and are tired of yo-yo-ing? Weight loss is about more than a number on a scale – it is about all of the factors that impact your body: your food choices, your environment, and how you accomplish physical activity.
The YMCA Weight Loss Program is designed to help you achieve your goals by increasing your awareness of what influences your lifestyle choices to help you make small, modest changes to your daily behaviors. Over 12 weeks, you will develop your own plan for long-term, sustainable lifestyle change for weight management.
