Group Hero imageYMCA support groups offer hope and provides a place for genuine relationships. Our groups, workshops, and seminars are based on research and Christian principles. People of diverse faiths or no faith are welcome and assured spiritual safety. Find help in navigating some of the most challenging and joyful aspects of life. 

Life University classes might be right for you if:

Making Change Stick

Making change stick (orange)If you struggle to break old habits, feel stuck in a cycle of behavior or are contemplating change, the Making Change Stick Workshop is a great place to begin.

This hour and a half workshop helps you learn the research-based process of holistic change and gives you direction on where and how to start. Leave with the tools you need to make the change you’ve always wanted.

1 & 2 Thessalonians Women's Bible Study

Have you been told that the Christian life is paved with success and comfort, but experienced something else? The reality is that those who follow Jesus can expect hardship, suffering and struggle-just like the rest of humanity! But the Lord has given us what we need to learn how to overcome trials and temptations and live in love, faith and hope in light of the future we have with Him. 

Join us for a "no-homework" 8 week study through 1 & 2 Thessalonians and discover powerful truths that will equip you to face life's challenges.

Explore the meaning of life in a relaxed, friendly setting while sharing a meal, short talk and discussion. All questions and opinions are welcomed from those with or without faith. Boundaries Book Study

When to Say Yes; How to Say No to Take Control of Your Life. In this study, we will look at Christian-based principles for setting and maintaining proper boundaries. Examine ways we can lead more full-filled lives and create relationships that foster feelings of appreciation and respect as well as gaining renewed energy.

Journey to Freedom

If you need an inspiring and practical vision for change and self-improvement in your life, Journey to Freedom may be your first step.

Journey to Freedom offers a safe environment to explore improving your life, restoring hope and rebuilding your circle of encouragement. Become more self-aware and prepare for positive change in a small group of six to ten people led by supportive facilitators.

Journey to a New Beginning After Loss

If you have experienced loss of any kind, whether of a person you loved or something else, such as a relationship, financial security, a dream or an expectation, Journey to a New Beginning after Loss offers a caring place to work through the grief of any major life change.

In a small group of six to ten people, Journey to a New Beginning after Loss will help you walk through the pain of loss and work through the stages of grief.

Spiritual Gifts

Discovering Your Unique Place in the Body of Christ. You may have heard that God has a plan for your life and that He has created you with unique abilities to carry out that plan. How do you know what these abilities are and what on earth you should do with them? In this series on Spiritual Gifts we will look at what the Bible says about these gifts, take our own Spiritual Gift inventories, and talk about how to graciously and responsibly exercise these gifts in our everyday contexts.

Floating Beyond Fear

If you often miss out on water-based activities because of fear, discomfort or avoidance, Floating Beyond Fear provides a safe and supportive environment to address your fear of water. 

Floating Beyond Fear is a small group class led by facilitators who respect your process, personal story, and boundaries. It combines pool time with group discussions on how your body naturally interacts with water, tools for remaining calm, and floating skills. With the support and encouragement of those who understand your fear, you will work towards becoming confident around water.

Learn how to manage personal finances through the support of trained facilitators in a supportive, resourceful setting while using acclaimed materials created by Dave Ramsey. Those on Financial Assistance recieve a 50% discount. A program offering of Life University.
