Youth Fitness

Children and teens in Youth Fitness classes improve their strength, speed, coordination, and endurance. These group exercise classes are designed to introduce young people to a lifetime of healthy living through fitness.

Archery Registration Required



Come and learn the basics of archery! Students will learn about the anatomy of bows and arrows as well as shooting techniques. Each week there will be games, team building activities and plenty of shooting time. This is a great class for those interested in exploring this Olympic sport.

Fit Kids Registration Required



A complete fitness class for children that introduces them to full body strength and conditioning training. Training includes pushups, squats, agility ladder, jump rope and sports games.

Homeschool PE Registration Required



Age-appropriate skill development drills teach general fitness, sports, balance, teamwork, and more. Open to all homeschooled children during the school year and included in your YMCA membership.

Homeschool PE Climb Registration Required



Learn about rock climbing safety, proper climbing technique, bouldering, and strength training. Harnesses are provided. Ages 5-12.

Intro to Weight Lifting for Teens Registration Required



Teens will experience a variety of workouts using different weight room equipment. Learn about proper weight room form and technique.

Pre-teens of all fitness levels get active and make friends through fun and exercise. With a focus on fitness, activities improve cardio, resistance training, and agility through structured exercise and games.

Preschool Fitness Fun Registration Required

Preschool Sports Skills | Basketball Drop-in Class



Learn about dribbling, passing, shooting, and footwork skills, as well as concepts of offense, defense, cooperation, and teamwork. Located in the Adventure Zone. Ages 3-4.

Preteen American Ninja Warrior Drop-in Class



Preteens ages 11-12 will be put to the test using an obstacle course with short workouts as part of this overall experience.

Teen American Ninja Warrior Drop-in Class



Teens ages 13-14 will be put to the test using an obstacle course with short workouts as part of this overall experience.

Teen Gym Ages 12-14 | Drop-in Class



Teens have the opportunity to play group games. Activities include dodgeball, basketball, volleyball, indoor soccer, and team building activities. Ages 12-16

West Sound Tech Other



West Sound Tech is a PE program that allows the Fire Science and Criminal Justices classes to utilize the Y in structured class offerings to promote health and fitness.
