Journey to Freedom

At the Y, we know the health of your spirit and mind are just as important as the health of your body. The everyday stresses and anxieties of life are hard to deal with on your own, but our Journey to Freedom support groups can help you navigate those challenges.

The Journey to Freedom support groups were created by Scott Reall, a former Senior Wellness Director of a YMCA. Over several years, Scott saw that people were coming to the Y looking for a fitness routine and trying to make physical changes in their lives. However, he realized that no wellness plan in the world would work without addressing spiritual and emotional baggage.

The YMCA of Piece of Kitsap Counties has served over 1,500 participants in these support groups since 2009 and seen many lives transformed.
