Swim Basics

Swim Basics lessons develop personal water safety and basic swimming skills in students of all ages. Students develop a high level of comfort in the water by practicing safe water habits, engaging in underwater exploration, and learning how to swim to safety and exit if they fall into a body of water.

1 - Water Acclimation Registration Required

Increases comfort with underwater exploration and introduces basic self-rescue skills performed with assistance.


2 - Water Movement Ages 3-5 | Registration Required

Encourages forward movement in water and basic self-rescue skills performed independently


3 - Water Stamina Ages 3-5 | Registration Required

Develops intermediate self-rescue skills performed at longer distances than in previous stages
