Youth Martial Arts
Classes begin and end with warm-ups, stretching, and meditation. Participants learn beginning skills for striking, blocking, and movement in addition to proper falling techniques and practical self-defense techniques.
A Japanese martial art and Olympic sport emphasizing throwing and grappling techniques. Students learn to overcome stronger opponents through efficient use of balance, leverage and movement.
A Korean art using hands and feet as a means of practical self-defense is recognized as the national sport of Korea as well as an Olympic sport. In addition to the class, we also offer a Competitive Tae Kwon Do team.
