HASELWOOD YMCA YOUTH SPORTS
The YMCA is among the national leaders in the area of youth development, and in particular, youth sports. When your little athlete participates in youth sports at the Haselwood Family YMCA you can be certain we will help your child learn popular sports all while developing a sense of confidence in themselves and their teammates. Our sports leagues strive to develop skills and character in a fun and welcoming environment. Every kid is an all-star at the Y.

At the Y, youth learn more right off the bat. From standing in the batter’s box to giving a teammate a high-five while crossing the plate, kids learn the sport and good sportsmanship, too.
AGES 6-7 | 8-9 | 10-12
With flag football at the Y, your child will learn self-reliance and leadership skills from the first moment they enter the huddle. Watch as your child learns the skills and technique to succeed in football, as well as builds a sense of camaraderie and friendship in a team setting.
League participation includes jersey. Financial assistance is available to those who qualify.
ACHIEVING GOALS, ON AND OFF THE FIELD

There is no Monday practice on May 29.
Nothing brings one a sense of accomplishment like helping shape the lives of young athletes. Sometimes it's as simple as watching her score her first basket. Other times it can be more difficult, like teaching him how to handle a tough loss with pride and humility. No matter the goal or the game outcome, being a presence in their lives makes you a Youth Sports Hero in our eyes!
Be a Youth Sports Hero and help shape the lives of our youth. Contact Jesse to discuss volunteering as a youth sports coach and you'll get the benefit of spending more time with your child, expanding your social network, as well as further developing your own interpersonal skills.
