Intro to Sculpture Registration Required

Students will learn new ways to create in three dimensions, while learning about famous sculptors and public art across the country.

Details:

Sculpting is the ultimate sensory art form and we want to help our students create three-dimensional objects straight from their imagination. The Y's sculpting class will teach you sculpting's history, the difference between additive and subtractive sculpting techniques, armature sculpting, and the difference between in-the-round and relief sculptures. The Y aims to prepare its students with skills to better express themselves through their very own artistic creations.
