While I’ve been athletic for a good portion of my life, I’m well acquainted with the struggle of weight loss. I know every excuse in the book – because I made them. I tried nearly every diet program on the market, and battled with body image. Through those experiences, I realized that every body is different. There is no one-size-fits-all recipe for success. Long lasting success comes from creating a fun, active, maintainable lifestyle that yields results – whether the goal is fat loss, improved mobility, increased athletic performance or all of the above. It has to leave you wanting more.

Let me help you achieve a maintainable level of fitness that will enable you move confidently into each day, no matter what life throws at you. With a special focus on whole body movements, Olympic and Power Lifting techniques, and Interval Cross Training, overall fitness and strength can grow by leaps and bounds. Whether your goals include improving flexibility, losing body fat, increasing overall athleticism, event specific training, or anything in between, I want to design and coach a program that will get you there. Put me on your team and let’s discover what you’re capable of.

I have been personal training for 21 years and I enjoy it more and more as time goes on. I have a dynamic, creative, and very unique style of training that benefits clients at any level. I possess a strong background and invaluable experience in training athletes, fitness competitors, rehabilitationm and weight loss clientele. Strength training and power lifting are also in my “wheelhouse” so to speak. I take my client’s goals seriously, your success is my success and your failures are my failures.
My philosophy about fitness is simple; don’t start that which you cannot maintain. If it’s too drastic or too difficult eventually you will backslide. There are plenty of modalities these days from Crossfit to body building. I utilize a training platform that takes things from all styles and focuses heavily on accountability and lifestyle change. Making sure I provide clients with the tools to not just succeed but to learn how to maintain the goals we accomplish together. There’s no point in doing something if you can’t keep it up after. Let me be your tour guide to a healthier, better looking you! I will keep things positive with high energy and the workouts inventive and challenging so we are constantly moving forward and never getting bored. I never met a plateau I couldn't conquer!

I learned during my time training with British Special Forces that in order to establish physical fitness as a lasting part of your lifestyle, the training you do must be enjoyable and it must achieve results. I will design your program around you: your schedule, your fitness level, your goals, and what you enjoy. A program that works and leaves you wanting more.

I have been involved in top level sports and fitness since a very early age and have a broad range of fitness and conditioning experience. My aim is to design a program for you that will make you fit for purpose, achieve your goals, and keep you enthusiastic and hungry for more. Those are the ingredients for a lifelong fitness habit. From youth sports to adults, and from competitive athletes to those who just want to be fitter and healthier, I will make your fitness journey fun and successful.

What do you do when you decide to retire after 28 years of teaching? You begin diving into other passions and new ways of helping others. I recently decided that after dedicating a significant and rewarding portion of my heart and life to 3rd and 4th graders; it was time for a new adventure. Even though I have shifted gears, the desire to help and encourage others is still the same. I chose to become a personal trainer and have already had the privilege of helping women ages 19-90 begin working towards their personal fitness and wellness goals.

Fitness and healthy living have been a part of my lifestyle from childhood to the present. I have enjoyed working out in a variety of ways including indoor gyms, running, hiking, boot camps, and Camp Gladiator fitness programs. Now, I am thrilled to channel that passion in a way that helps women achieve their personal goals to be well, to be fit, and to be healthy. I am perceptive to needs, am able to encourage and motivate in a cheerful way, and can design and differentiate training for each individual. I would love to partner with you and help you on your journey to meet your personal health and fitness goals!
