Just an FYI - We will be on our regular operating schedule on Monday, January 18, despite the Martin Luther King Day holiday.

All drop-in and registered programming - including swim lessons - will go on as scheduled.

Join our community and become a member today at ymcapkc.org/start.

Have you just joined the Y this month, or have you been with us for a while and are looking for a new class? No matter where you are on your fitness journey, join us for this class mashup next Monday, January 18, and get a feel for some of our most popular group exercise classes.

This drop-in, 60-minute class is the perfect way to try several class formats all at once. Open to all current YMCA members.

Great news - closer parking is coming, courtesy of newlife central kitsap! Our new neighbors to the north and we have agreed to share parking lots to accommodate members of both organizations, which means no more walking all the way to the AMC Kitsap 8 lot for auxiliary parking!

You can cease parking at AMC and start parking in the newlife lot beginning Sunday, January 17. Learn more: http://bit.ly/newlife-parking

CLOSER AUXILIARY PARKING NOW AVAILABLE

Parking Campus_small
We are pleased to announce a new parking agreement for 2016 and beyond. YMCA members and guests can now park in the newlife parking lots located directly north of the facility (currently Regal Cinema 4). These parking lots are closer than our current auxiliary lot behind AMC Kitsap 8 and will add significant parking options.

HASELWOOD Family Y ID AND GUEST PolicY

100% ID CHECK ALWAYS IN EFFECT
In order to better protect our members, guests, and staff, all visitors *14 years of age and older are required to show a valid, government-issued ID.

This policy helps us account for all people in the facility, making the YMCA a safer place for all in attendance. Community members who intend to visit the facility on a regular basis can elect to have their picture taken and stored in our database in lieu of showing picture ID during subsequent visits, but all first-time guests MUST present ID to enter the facility.

GUEST POLICY AND WAIVER
Community members and guests wishing to visit the facility are required to sign our guest waiver before entering the facility. Additionally, all minors entering the facility must have their guest waivers signed by a parent or guardian.

*Visitors not old enough to obtain a driver's license or learner's permit may present an ASB or other accredited student council ID card for entrance.

youth recreational swim checks

The Haselwood Family YMCA employs a youth swim check practice, which allows our lifeguards and aquatic staff to quickly and accurately determine each youth's swim level. The tiered levels are color-coded to a corresponding band color - red, yellow, or green - and determine into what areas of the aquatic center each swimmer can go.

Youth will have their swim level checked upon their first visit to the facility and the band must be worn at all times while in the aquatic center unless the child is participating in a YMCA group swim lesson.

More Info Button

This practice applies to all youth recreational swimmers regardless whether the child is a community member, YMCA member, or YMCA swim lesson participant.
