Itty Bitty Scientists (STEAM – STEM with Arts)
Introducing Pre-K kiddos to STEM curriculum with arts components.

A wide range of STEM projects throughout the session to encourage children to expand their minds and think outside the box when it comes to science.

ARTS DROP-IN CLASSES FOR JANUARY!
For the first two weeks of January, we are offering a variety of free arts drop-in classes for you and your kiddos to participate in, including visual arts, music, culinary, digital, theater, and dance. This is a great time to try out new classes, get to know our talented arts instructors, and explore your creativity.
Take a look at our drop-in schedule here. Don’t forget registration for Winter 1 session opens on January 15 at 6am. Winter 1 is a five-week session that runs from January 21 through February 24. LITE UP THE NITE | TEEN LATE NITE AND 678 NITE
At the YMCA, we believe that creating a strong community starts with empowering our youth.
Gordon’s 6, 7, 8 Nite and Teen Late Nite programming encourages the development of youth in grades 6-8 and 9-12 by providing a safe environment, consistent adult involvement, and fun activities that foster excellence and a positive attitude.

WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAM
YMCA Weight loss program will run Jan 30- May 1, Wednesday nights from 6-7pm, $50. Registration will open in the new year.
JANUARY GROUP EXERCISE UPDATES
On January 27, Health and Well-Being will host our third monthly Family Group Fitness Event! Join us from 12-1pm for Family MixxedFit®! MixxedFit® is a people-inspired fitness program that combines explosive dance movements with bodyweight toning. In Family MixxedFit®, our talented and trained instructor will lead the class through a family-friendly version that you won’t want to miss out on! Bring your family in for a fun-packed, groove-filled workout!
The launch of Tai Chi has also been met with huge support! Please check out Gordon’s newest drop-in class! The practice of Tai Chi is proven to improve balance which can help reduce falls as we age. Our Master Instructor, Edwin, will guide you through one-hour classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12pm-1pm.

JOURNEY TO A NEW BEGINNING
We are excited to announce our brand new January offering!
Journey to a New Beginning After Loss: January 21-March 14 Thursdays, 10-11:30am and 1:30pm.
In a supportive and healing environment, this eight-week small group offers a caring place to work through the grief of any major life change. $30 for YMCA members, $45 for community members.
