In Music Lessons, students are introduced to the fundamentals of playing an instrument, reading music, and using melodies to express themselves creatively.

Active Older Adult Choir Drop-in Class



The Active Older Adult Choir is your chance to gain a new appreciation for music and sense of community. Participants will learn skills such as diction, breathing techniques, and proper enunciation needed to create a joyful noise. There will be opportunities to perform for YMCA members as well as in the community. All ages and skill levels are welcome.

Guitar Lessons Registration Required



This small group class will teach students basic guitar techniques. Participants will learn how to understand guitar tablature and some theory of sheet music, play simple chords, melodies, and songs while collaborating with other musicians. Students will need to bring their own instrument to class.

Piano Lessons Registration Required



Customizable for specific interests and diverse ability levels, pianists will increase their skill and knowledge. Piano classes are semi-private with two students working with one instructor. Students rotate between working with sheet music and theory and practicing on the piano.
