Besides annual giving, many donors give to capital projects to help improve YMCA facilities and equipment. Capital campaigns are organized efforts to build a new facility or to make improvements at existing branches.
Haselwood Family YMCA Capital Campaign The Haselwood Family YMCA in Silverdale will serve as a community hub for people from all walks of life in the greater Silverdale area. Set to open its doors by summer 2011, the YMCA will serve an estimated 15,000 members.
Sumner Capital Campaign The YMCA in Sumner is expected to be 50,000-70,000 square feet with a community hub feeling to serve everyone in Sumner - children, teens, adults, families, and seniors. The facility is expected to open in 2013.
