Answers to some of your Easter questions:

1.) The annual egg hunt is on for tomorrow, Saturday, April 19. Festivities begin with a craft and story time at 10:45am in the Family Wellness Center. FREE for Y members; $2 for community members. See you tomorrow!

2.)All regularly scheduled classes will run as normal tomorrow. (They are not cancelled due to the egg hunt.)

3.) As a reminder, we will be closed on Easter Sunday, April 20. We will re-open on Monday, April 21 at 4:45am.

Give Hope. Give Soap. Just a few days left of our first annual soap and toiletries drive benefitting underprivileged people in our community. We'll be accepting the following items through Saturday, April 26:
*shampoo and conditioner
*toothpaste and toothbrushes
*shaving cream and lotion
*diapers and feminine hygiene products
*all types of soap (dish, hand, laundry, etc.)

Donate what you can't imagine doing without!

Our Aquatics Team wants to hear from you. Here's what they'd like to know:

1.) Parents of kids enrolled in our swim lessons, will your children be attending morning (9am-12pm) or evening (4-7pm) lessons this summer?

2.) Which would you prefer this summer: recreational swim time on weekday afternoons from 1-3pm or recreational swim time on weekday evenings from 7-9pm?

Saturday, April 19 | Ages 6months-10 years

Join the Arts and Gymnastics Departments for our annual Easter Egg Hunt. There will be a story time in the Family Wellness Lobby at 10:45am followed by a fun Easter Bunny craft from 11am-1:15pm. The Easter Egg Hunt is split into two age groups and will take place outside on the Day Camp
field by the back parking lot. Hope to see you there!


Our certified personal trainers will use their knowledge of current research concepts, principles of sound exercise, and state-of-the-art equipment to design and implement a program tailored just for you. Contact Deb Delong at 253-906-9945.


Join us on Mondays at 5:15pm for a beginning runners/walkers training group. The goal is to establish endurance, with a goal of running or walking the Y Run for Kids 5K in April 2014.

Anyone 10 years and older is welcome to join us. (No registration necessary.) We'll meet weekly on the main indoor running track. Hope to see you there!

MORGAN Family Y Policies

The Morgan YMCA makes every effort possible to keep the Y and its programs running during periods of inclement weather. Operating decisions are based on weather alerts, road and school closings and the ability of the YMCA staff & members to get to and from the Y and operate the facility safely.

For All Classes (Youth & Adult) Cancellation Policy:
If the Tacoma School District has a delayed start due to inclement weather, we will cancel all morning classes. If Tacoma school district cancels school due to inclement weather, all classes will be cancelled for the day. If Tacoma school district cancels all afternoon and evening activities, all evening classes will be cancelled. A decision will be made at opening for Saturday and Sunday classes.
