Something for Every Kid
The Y is often the starting point for youth becoming active – but the benefits are greater than just physical health. Kids can meet new friends, build skills, develop interests, gain confidence and a sense of belonging, and try new things in a supportive environment. Our programs emphasize values, sportsmanship, friendship and most of all, fun!
Swimming
Swimming is a life skill as well as great exercise and a challenging sport. We offer swim lessons (for all ages), family swim, competitive swimming teams, and many kinds of adaptive swim programs for kids with special needs.
Recreation
Dance classes, teen centers, climbing walls, arts—there’s a lot to discover at the Y. Recreation program giving kids the chance to exert energy, try new things, make new friends … and just be kids!
Youth Sports
Baseball, soccer, volleyball, flag football, karate, basketball, gymnastics—check out the sports offerings at your Y branch and get in the game. Youth will improve skills, make new friends, be active with other kids, and learn to love a sport.
Competitive Sports
Competitive sports leagues help kids value hard work, reach for excellence, and enjoy spirited competition. A number of our branches offer competitive swimming and gymnastics teams that compete in state, regional and national championships annually.
