Child Care

Nurturing young children - daily

At the Y, we believe the values and skills learned early in life are vital building blocks for future success. That's why our Child Care and Child Watch programs are staffed with people who understand the cognitive, physical, and social development of children.

At the Y, babies develop trust and security, preschoolers experience early literacy and learn about their world, and school-age kids make friends, learn new skills, and do homework.

Most importantly, children learn how to be their best selves. That makes for confident kids today, and contributing and engaged adults tomorrow.

Child Watch

The adults in children’s lives are their first teachers and best role models. That’s why we offer drop-in child care while parents and caregivers make use of the Y. While you exercise or connect with others, your young children can choose playful, engaging activities that nurture their own potential.

Before and After School Child Care

Y before and afterschool programs serve kindergartners through middle schoolers with a variety of programmatic and activity options to explore and develop their interests and talents. Our focus on safety, health, social growth, and academic enhancement means your children have fun, grow, and thrive in our care.

Day Camp

Day camp offers kids time to learn both how to be more independent and how to contribute to a group – and they still get to return home each afternoon. Days are filled with new experiences, skill building, and lasting friendships.
