Home Alone Class
The purpose of the American Red Cross “When I’m In Charge” course is to prepare youth ages 8 to 11 to respond safely to a variety of situations when direct parental supervision is unavailable. Training includes role play door/visitor and phone safety, gun and internet safety, house key and personal safety, first aid situations, and family communications.
Home Alone Class
Prerequisites
Must be 8 years of age or older.
Participant Materials
Participant materials include a Handbook to use during and after class, phone and note pads, 911 card, fire escape plan, and responsibilities poster.
