Many classes and programs are included in your YMCA membership, such as swimming lessons, sports classes, toddler gym, gymnastics, and more.

Lottery Registration Process
With over 19,000 members and over 4,000 kids attending our YMCA we have found a lottery or random based system is the most effective way to provide all members an equal opportunity to register for classes. During registration week members can register for classes online or in our branch. Swim and gym tickets are a prerequisites for any registration other than beginning levels. Make sure your ticket is dropped at the Welcome Center before registration closes. Once the registration period is over, registration is closed, and our computer system will randomly select class participants based on the member's registration preferences.
Swim Tickets
You can obtain swim tickets (required for all non-beginning level registration) at the Aquatics office or perform a swim test with a lifeguard at any of our recreational swims.
Gym Tickets
You can obtain gym tickets (required for all non-beginning level registration) at the gym office or perform a gym test by appointment. Contact Trinelle Kilpatrick at 253-460-8976
Rosters
Rosters are posted the Thursday following Registration Week. Members who register online will receive a confirmation email with the class(es) the registrant has been enrolled in. Only those members whose names appear on the roster or receive a confirmation email will be allowed into the class.
Registration Policies
Registration form must be filled out completely.
Child must have a current YMCA membership at the time of registration.
Registration is by the lottery system; registrants are not guaranteed a class.
Pre-Registration
Pre-registration for Fall II, Winter and Spring sessions will take place in the lobby of the program the last day of classes. More Pre-Registration information.
