Home School PE and Aquatics Co-Op

Participants learn the basic elements related to one of the following sports: basketball, T-ball/coach pitch, soccer and floor hockey. Each session will incorporate fitness components for the Presidential Fitness Challenge. Testing for that challenge will occur one week in early spring. Aquatics classes are also a part of this program. This program is open to home schooled children during the school year and is included in your YMCA membership with registration.

Pre-Teen Fitness

The purpose is to provide 10-12 year olds with an opportunity to exercise and grow together. This class will also prepare pre-teens for the Teen Fitness Class and teach pre-teens how to properly utilize the track for exercise.

When: Mondays & Wednesdays from 6:15pm-7:15pm
What: A Track Workout for Pre-Teens Ages 10-12
Where: Track & Youth Gym. Participants register during registration week. Then meet on the track by the stairs next to the side door entrance.

Class Structure:
6:15-6:30 Warm-Ups/Track Etiquette/Value Talk
6:30-6:50 Track Cardio/Corner Stations/Agility
6:50-7:05 Body Weight Strength Training
7:05-7:10 Core Work
7:10-7:15 Stretch & Warm Down
