Policy and Fundraising
Advisory Council / Committees: Volunteers serve on our YMCA Advisory Council and committees and act as Trustees. They meet regularly and serve to represent the membership and the community on issues such as programs, finances, marketing, facilities, strategic planning and fundraising. Volunteers must be at least 21 years old.
Strong Kids Campaign: Our Strong Kids Campaign is the YMCAs annual fund raising campaign that ensures every child has access to a balanced life by providing financial assistance for memberships, camp, child care and outreach programs. You can be a part of this amazing opportunity by assisting in a variety of ways. Volunteers must be at least 21 years old.
Facilities
Facilities-Janitorial / Grounds: Assistance is needed with maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming environment for all people who come to the YMCA. Volunteers must be at least 15 years old.
Facilities- Towels: Help staff with collecting, laundering and restocking of towels for member use. Volunteers must be at least 15 years old.
Member Services
Birthday Party Assistant: Assist staff with party set up and clean up, help monitor and maintain a safe environment while promoting a positive and fun experience for all birthday party guests. We offer both pool and gymnastics parties on the weekends. Volunteer must be at least 11 years old.
Greeter: Provide outstanding service by welcoming members and guests with a friendly smile, hand out stickers to children, keep lobby area clean, keep information grid stocked and direct members to proper locations during class session. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.
Welcome Center: Greet members and guests, schedule court reservations, assist with tours, and provide equipment for members to check out, help copy and restock promotional materials. Volunteers must be at least 17 years old.
