Small Groups
No other place meets the needs of older adults like the YMCA. We offer a comfortable place to stay active, a sense of community and opportunties to strengthen social ties. For good reason: socializing and volunteering have been shown to have positive effects on the health of older adults. Make new friends at the Y as you join a one of our small groups.
The following small groups have been established by the staff and/or volunteers and are open to all members. For more information or to suggest a new small group, please visit the Welcome Center.
Active Older Adult Casino Trips
Enjoy a day at the casino with your YMCA friends and family.
Active Older Adult Potluck
Join other seniors for potluck, interesting speakers, fun and fellowship. Guests are welcome!
Family Movie Night
