Mini Movers: Ages 10 months to 4 years
This fun-filled Mini-Movers class is designed as an exploration of movement concepts and skills. Gymnastics equipment such as the rebounder, bars, and floor-level balance beam are utilized in a safe and positive learning environment. For the majority of class time, children and parents openly explore the gym, coming together during the middle and at end of class for Circle Time. Circle Time includes songs incorporating finger play (ex: Itsy Bitsy Spider) and an instructor-lead obstacle course. Parent Participation is required for this class.
Mighty Movers: Age 2 and 3 years
Mighty Movers is designed for the toddler who is ready for more structure but still in need of parental help. Children and parents warm up and stretch together, and are introduced to gymnastics-oriented obstacle courses, motor, balance, and coordination skills. This is an instructor-lead class, who is available to assist in any necessary spotting. Parent Participation is required for this class.
Movement and Motion: Age 3 and 4 years
Movement and Motion is a one-hour combination dance movement and gymnastics class. Movement concepts and techniques are introduced using fun props and great music. Motor skills, body awareness, hand-eye coordination, timing and rhythm are emphasized during both portions of the class. During the gymnastics section of the class, we utilize all areas of the gymnastics gym with obstacle courses and instructor-assisted stations designed to encourage skill building in a fun and safe environment.
