Youth and Government

Over the course of a school year, this non-partisan program provides middle and high school students with the opportunity to become civically engaged through hands-on experience running a model state legislature.

Teens run for elected positions, research and write their own piece of legislation, debate to pass laws and bills, meet state and local officials, and become familiar with state government in a fun environment that hones leadership skills and public speaking.
