Thank you to our friends at SoulPowered for this inspiration to start our weekend. What small action will you start with this weekend?

We are grateful for Puget Sound Energy’s support of Healthy Kids Day. Together with the Red Cross, they will share information about “Safe in the Sound,” an initiative to help youth and families plan for emergencies. Drop by and see them on April 26.

What is this lady doing? That's right, she's foam rolling. A great way to release and detox muscles after a killer workout. Come to our Foam Rolling 101 workshop on Saturday at 2:30-3:30pm to learn more!

As a reminder, we have converted to a 2-Class per person per family registration this session to accommodate all members. During Late Registration it is possible to register for a third class but three is our maximum.

LAKEwood Family Y Policies

GUEST POLICY AND WAIVER
Guests who would like to visit our facilities may purchase a one-day YMCA membership and take advantage of any free activity or drop in program we offer on that day. For more information, visit our guest policy page.

Click here to print our Guest Waiver. Every guest entering the Lakewood Family YMCA must sign a Guest Waiver. If you are bringing a minor in as a guest, you must have a Guest Waiver signed by the child's parent or guardian.

100% ID CHECK
All members and guests are required to use a YMCA membership card or photo ID to enter the Y. Replacement YMCA cards are available at the Membership Office for $2.50. Thank you for helping us enforce this policy to ensure the safety of everyone at the Y. This policy allows us to know exactly who is in the building in the event of an emergency, natural disaster, or security threat.

NEW GUIDELINES FOR CAREGIVERS/ASSISTANTS

If you require assistance while at the Lakewood YMCA or are a caretaker for someone who does, please follow the steps in our new Guidelines for Caregivers/Assistants. Effective December 1, 2011
