A piece of YMCA history for you.

What are all the red noses about?
Red Nose Day USA was created to raise awareness surrounding the work organizations, like the Y, are doing around the nation and globe to ensure kids are educated, healthy, and safe. Check out how the Y is working to accomplish these goals during our summer programming! #rednoseday #ymcapkc #iamlakewood

You can read more about Red Nose Day at https://www.rednoseday.org/how-we-help

Help your kids stay active after the end of the school year. This summer at the Y, kids will learn the fundamentals of different sports at our Sports Specialty Camps. Focus on one sport like soccer, basketball, or flag football or sign up for a Sports Sampler Week to try them all. Registration for summer activity and specialty camps is now open at ymcapkc.org/summer.

Community Prayer Time is every Wednesday from 1:30-2pm. Everyone is welcome!

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."
- Philippians 4:6

Join us for our monthly Senior Activities and Potluck tomorrow in the conference room from 11:30am-12:30pm. This month, we will have brain games for you all to enjoy. Complete crossword puzzles, word searches, and other fun paper/pencil games with fun company and then stay for some yummy food at the potluck from 12:30-1:30pm. What are you going to bring?

Does your child love to cook up a storm? We have a camp for that! In Culinary Arts Camp, kids learn to prepare and cook meals that are both delicious and nutritious. Register today at ymcapkc.org/summer.

Build skills and confidence! Registration for summer youth sports leagues is now open. Choose from T-ball, coach pitch baseball, or flag football. Practices begin July 13 and the season runs until August 27. The cost to participate is $40 for YMCA members and $50 for community members.

Sign up today at ymcapkc.org/register

At Video Game Design Camp, kids learn different computer coding languages to create a one-of-a-kind arcade game. Sign up now for Video Game Design Camp and learn more about all of our specialty camps at ymcapkc.org/summer.
