We need your help! We are collecting candy donations for our Preschool Pumpkin Parades on October 29-31. Please leave bags of individually wrapped treats in the bucket located in the lobby for the preschoolers to collect as they trick or treat around the branch. Learn to float beyond fear. This innovative class for adults combines group discussions and pool time designed to address fear of the water. We’ll discuss how your body naturally interacts with water, tools for remaining calm, and floating skills. You’ll be in a supportive environment with others who share and understand your fear. The 9-week class starts Friday, October 3 from 8:15-10am. Register at the Membership Office.

FitPath is a personalized, progressive fitness plan for members ages 10 and older. Our Health and Well-Being staff will meet with you to discuss your goals and create a program that’s right for you. It's free for members, so make your appointment today!

Fall 1 Registration Guide

Before registration day, make sure to create your personal Daxko account. Do so by following the steps in our handy "How to Register" guide.

If you are having issues with registration, please email Lorne Ennis and we will assist you at our earliest convenience.

CHANGES TO REGISTRATION

As a reminder, we have converted to a 2-Class per person per family registration this session to accommodate all members. During Late Registration it is possible to register for a third class but three is our maximum.

Registration begins at 7am on start day and concludes at end of day on the last day of that sessions registration

LAKEwood Family Y Policies

GUEST POLICY AND WAIVER
Guests who would like to visit our facilities may purchase a one-day YMCA membership and take advantage of any free activity or drop in program we offer on that day. For more information, visit our guest policy page.

Click here to print our Guest Waiver. Every guest entering the Lakewood Family YMCA must sign a Guest Waiver. If you are bringing a minor in as a guest, you must have a Guest Waiver signed by the child's parent or guardian.

100% ID CHECK
All members and guests are required to use a YMCA membership card or photo ID to enter the Y. Replacement YMCA cards are available at the Membership Office for $2.50. Thank you for helping us enforce this policy to ensure the safety of everyone at the Y. This policy allows us to know exactly who is in the building in the event of an emergency, natural disaster, or security threat.

NEW GUIDELINES FOR CAREGIVERS/ASSISTANTS

If you require assistance while at the Lakewood YMCA or are a caretaker for someone who does, please follow the steps in our new Guidelines for Caregivers/Assistants. Effective December 1, 2011

FitPath is an appointment designed specifically for members ages 10 and older who want to have a tailored, progressive fitness plan. Our Health and Well-being staff will meet with you to discuss your goals to create a program that's right for you.

Our certified personal trainers will use their knowledge of current research concepts, principles of sound exercise, and state-of-the-art equipment to design and implement a program tailored just for you. Contact Deb Delong at 253-906-9945.
