8 more days until Healthy Kids Day! YMCA CAMP SEYMOUR will be here with their reptile touch tank. Learn all about these cool critters and about camp on Saturday, April 25 from 10am-1pm.

Our next Making Change Stick Workshop starts tomorrow from 11:30am-1pm. Designed to offer tools to support sustainable life change in spirit, mind, and body, this workshop helps you learn the research-based process of holistic change. This class is included in your membership. Please register in the Membership Office.

Ten days left until Healthy Kids Day! Puget Sound Energy is donating meals for all attendees and they'll be giving away fun prizes in our lobby. Join us on Saturday, April 25 from 10am-1pm for food, music, performances, and information about community resources.

Join us for our monthly Senior Activities and Potluck tomorrow in the conference room from 11:30am-12:30pm. This month, we will have brain games for you all to enjoy. Complete crossword puzzles, word searches, and other fun paper/pencil games with fun company and then stay for some yummy food at the potluck from 12:30-1:30pm. What are you going to bring?

Only 11 days left until Healthy Kids Day! This free community event is on Saturday, April 25 from 10am-1pm. We'll have food, music, performances, and face painting. You won't want to miss it.

SWIM LESSONS AND GYMNASTICS CLASSES

Our swim lessons and gymnastics classes are progression-based. It is the responsibility of the parent to register their child for the appropriate level. Please consult our gymnastics and swim lessons progression guides.

Immediately after your online registration processes, you will receive an emailed receipt. After registration closes, you will receive a confirmation email. Please print these documents for your reference.

LAKEwood Family Y Policies

GUEST POLICY AND WAIVER
Guests who would like to visit our facilities may purchase a one-day YMCA membership and take advantage of any free activity or drop in program we offer on that day. For more information, visit our guest policy page.

Click here to print our Guest Waiver. Every guest entering the Lakewood Family YMCA must sign a Guest Waiver. If you are bringing a minor in as a guest, you must have a Guest Waiver signed by the child's parent or guardian.

100% ID CHECK
All members and guests are required to use a YMCA membership card or photo ID to enter the Y. Replacement YMCA cards are available at the Membership Office for $2.50. Thank you for helping us enforce this policy to ensure the safety of everyone at the Y. This policy allows us to know exactly who is in the building in the event of an emergency, natural disaster, or security threat.

NEW GUIDELINES FOR CAREGIVERS/ASSISTANTS

If you require assistance while at the Lakewood YMCA or are a caretaker for someone who does, please follow the steps in our new Guidelines for Caregivers/Assistants. Effective December 1, 2011

FitPath is an appointment designed specifically for members ages 10 and older who want to have a tailored, progressive fitness plan. Our Health and Well-being staff will meet with you to discuss your goals to create a program that's right for you. 


Button-Personal-Training


Our certified personal trainers will use their knowledge of current research concepts, principles of sound exercise, and state-of-the-art equipment to design and implement a program tailored just for you. Contact Deb Delong at 253-906-9945.
